Who we are

Arta Consultants Ltd (company number 09568647) is the data controller for the information you give us through this website. You can contact us by email at admin@artaconsultants.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry through this website we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the services you tick and whatever you tell us about your property or project. We also record which page the form was on.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you instruct us, carry out the work. We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to lead-generation companies, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

We rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on performing the contract if you instruct us.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is sent to us by email. The email is delivered by our website hosting and email providers, who process the data on our instructions only. Where a survey requires it, we may share details with a specialist we bring in, and we will tell you first.

Our hosting and email providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer must be covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the ICO's international data transfer agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become instructions are deleted after two years. Where we have carried out work, we keep the file for as long as we need to for legal, insurance and regulatory purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to restrict how we use your data, object to our use of it, or have it sent to you in a portable format. Email admin@artaconsultants.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
